Ingredients
Around 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
Cinnamon
For the filling
4 apples
1 cup sugar
Half cup crushed walnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
This is a simple and easy recipe which does not take lots of ingredients and time and comes quite nice and tasty. Mix all the ingredients for the crust and make nice hard dough. You might need some more flour to get the necessary thickness. If the crust comes a bit dry add some water. When ready keep it in a plastic bag for around 30 minutes in the fridge. Meanwhile prepare the filling. For the filling take 4 apples, clean, peel and cut on small cubes. Heat them in a small pan with the sugar, walnuts and the cinnamon, until most of the juice evaporates. Then cover the bottom of the pie form with the pie crust and leave small part of it to make some crumbles on the top, pour the filling in it, cover with crust crumbles and bake until ready. Serve with nice ice cream.
